COURSE AIMS

To provide industry with Supervisors and Trainers who are competent in the delivery of training workshops on-the-job.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

2.  Deliver a training session.
3.  Monitor the trainee’s performance.
4.  Evaluate a training session.
5.  Communicate and maintain information about training sessions as required by the enterprise.

WHAT LEARNING METHODS ARE USED TO ACHIEVE THE OUTCOMES?

All exercises and learning techniques used during this workshop have been chosen with the adult learner in mind.  Exercises are problem centred and discussion and syndicate work is used as a vehicle for participants to reflect on their own experiences.
Specific methods used include:

    Lectures supported by visual aids.
    Examination of case studies both in syndicates and independently.
    Role plays.
    Presentation and feedback of group and individual work.
    Independent study and activities using the comprehensive workbook.
